Marion Glen Ingersoll, 82, of Sparks, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026, at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Marion was born on December 7, 1943, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to Marion Ingersoll, Sr. and Gracie Nicols Ingersoll. He spent his life as a hardworking and dedicated man, working in the tire industry and providing professional cleaning services. He was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever needed. On July 7, 1962, Marion married the love of his life, Darlene, in Lyman, Nebraska. Together they shared many wonderful years filled with love, adventure, and family. One of their greatest joys was riding their Yamaha Venture motorcycle and traveling the open road together, creating countless memories along the way. In his later years, Marion enjoyed spending time at the Sparks Senior Citizens Center, where he formed many friendships and enjoyed fellowship with members of the community. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Minatare, NE. Marion was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Darlene Ingersoll; his son, Rodney Ingersoll, his brother Danny Ingersoll; his parents, Marion and Gracie Ingersoll, Grandfather and Mother that raised him Nick and Grace (nanie) Nichols and other cherished family members. He is survived by his son, Tommy Ingersoll and wife Penny of Lakewood Village, Texas daughter Lisa Reedy and husband Eddie: sisters, Royanna Hughes and husband Larry of Centerville, Washington, and Charlene Pine and husband Mike of Fossil, Oregon; six grandchildren, Scotty, Dustin, Brett, Nik, Brett Ingersoll and Natasha Wright and husband Brandon; four great-grandchildren Mason, Kendall, Clara and Miles; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will greatly miss him. Marion will be remembered for his devotion to family, his quiet strength, his love of motorcycles and travel, and the kindness he shared with everyone he met. His legacy lives on through the family he loved and the many lives he touched throughout his 82 years. A private family remembrance will be held at a later date.
