Marion Frank "Frank" Smith, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026, at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Shawnee at the age of 79. Frank was born on July 6, 1947, to Marion Frank Smith, Sr. and Esther Pauline (Hanning) Smith. He retired as maintenance supply supervisor with the Shawnee Housing Authority, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and willingness to help others. On February 9, 2008, Frank married, Gracie Laverne Carson, in Prague, Oklahoma. Together they shared many years of love, family, and cherished memories. Frank was affiliated with Church of God throughout the years, but attended New Life Church in Shawnee most recently. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and was an avid fisherman who found peace on the water. He also enjoyed working around the home and treasured every opportunity to spend time with his family and friends. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Frank Smith, Sr. and Esther Pauline Smith; his daughter, Tracy Michelle Ferrell; and his stepson, Marty Osborne. He is survived by his loving wife, Gracie Laverne Smith of the home; his stepdaughter, Krista Call (Kelly) of Tecumseh; his stepson, Carter Osborne (Michelle) of Amarillo, TX; son in law, Mark Ferrell of Greenfield, Ohio; his sisters and brothers in law, Linda and Charles Sutton, Jim and Kathy Willoughby; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and many friends who will dearly miss him. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Kelly Call, Carter Osborne, Cole Osborne, Garrett Osborne, Mark Ferrell and Zach Batt. A family visitation will be held Friday, July 10, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Legacy Memorial Services, 5106 N Harrison, Shawnee, OK 74804. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, at Johnson Cemetery, with Rocky Pettyjohn officiating. The family extends their sincere appreciation to everyone for their prayers, love, and support during this difficult time.
