Amber Rae West (Farmer) was born on March 10, 1978 in Sarasota, Florida. Amber passed from this life on December 9, 2023 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma at the age of 45.
Growing up was not easy, but with the help of her foster parents, Mike and Kim Presnall, she got to enjoy life. Amber enjoyed fishing, going on the boat, and doing anything she could to stay busy. After her time with the Pressnall's she and her sister Tiffany were adopted by Richard and Bobby Farmer where she grew up in a large family with a lot of siblings. Amber was married on June 25, 2018 to Randy Knighten, and during their marriage she worked in an office and was also a housewife. Amber loved her son, cooking, canning, fishing, watching movies, and animals. It was always her ambition to rescue all the animals she could and to have a family that loved her. Amber taught others to smile through it all and to make the ones you love feel important and appreciated. She will be missed by so many.
Amber is survived by her husband Randy Knighten of the home; son Andrew O’Neal; foster mom Kim Presnall; brothers Chris Rudd, James Farmer, Michael Farmer; sisters Tiffany Flores and husband Eric, Kelly Farmer, Connie Schweinschaupt, Sherry Hamed, and Jenny Park; foster sister Holly Desfoses; foster brother Shane Presnall.
Amber is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Bobby Farmer; foster father Mike Presnall.
Memorial services for Amber are Sunday, December 17, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.
