Andrew Clarence Partain was born on August 12, 1952, at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. He was the son of Clarence and Allie Virginia (Kelso) Collier. He was the fifth child of ten children.
Andy attended Forrest City School where he completed the eighth grade. At the age of 16 he married and they had one daughter Angela Marie Partain Hart. Andy divorced and remarried and they had a daughter, Lisa Marie Partain. He divorced and later had one son, He then moved to Oklahoma and remarried again and had one son, Phillip Daniel Partain and the divorced. He later met the love of his life Debria Ann Byrd and they married on October 6, 1990 with this union Andy gained two step daughters, Danielle Monique Barnard Dunbar, and Desiree Nichole Barnard. Andy enjoyed life to the fullest, he was a truck driver and enjoyed riding Honda Goldwings in his spare time. He was a member of the Oklahoma Dressers and later became a member of the “CMA” Christian Motorcyclists Association. He loved his prison ministry the most. He always enjoyed getting to share God’s love with others. Andy was driven by his faith in God. He would always challenge those around him to be the best version of themselves. Though he had a tough exterior his heart was Gold, he would never hesitate to give his last to someone in need.

On November 18, 2024, at 9:57 am., Andy joined his father and mother; his sister, Dorothy Gustavus; five brothers, Kelly Taylor, Ronnie Partain, Barry Partain, Jimmy Christian, and Rodney Christian; and one great granddaughter, Avery Wilson. He will be greatly missed by all that he has touched.
He is survived by his wife, Debria Partain of the home; two daughters, Angela Marie Partain of Wynne, Arkansas, and Lisa Marie Partain, of Russellville, Arkansas; one son, Phillip Daniel Partain of Moore, Oklahoma; two stepdaughters, Danielle Monique Barnard Dunbar of Texas, and Desiree Nichole Barnard of Meeker, Oklahoma; sixteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; his brothers, Larry Taylor of Palestine, Arkansas, and Delane Partain and wife Anne of Bryant, Arkansas; and his sister, Jane Madden of Forrest City, Arkansas.
Graveside services will be held at the Loughridge Cemetery in Wynne, Arkansas, date to be announced later.
