Barbara Jean Hennigh

Barbara Jean Hennigh passed away at her home on October 19, 2023, at the age of 88 in Tecumseh Ok.

Barbara was born to Cecil Williams and Helen (Hardman) Williams in Galt Missouri, on November 23, 1934. She married Marvin Hennigh of Englewood Kansas, in Clayton New Mexico, on May 2, 1955. Barbara enjoyed life with her family and friends. Barbara loved being in her garden and flower beds teaching her grandchildren how to plant and harvest fruits and vegetables a lot of times before they were supposed to, her cherry tomatoes and strawberries were always the first to be picked off the vine and ate. Her love of animals was defiantly passed on to her children and grandchildren. Barbara was a dedicated homemaker. She would make loaves of fresh homemade bread, hot rolls, and cinnamon rolls for her family during the holidays and her friends during special occasions. She loved to play uno, bunko and skip-bo with her family and friends. She enjoyed watching wrestling. Her love of ceramics she made is displayed throughout her home. Barbara will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her three of her four children; Joy Hennigh Foster of the home in Tecumseh, Perry Hennigh of the home in Tecumseh, and Troy Hennigh of Shawnee; seven grandchildren, Carmencia, and husband Matthew Buoy, and their daughters, Madison, Macy, and Stevie of Shawnee, Misha and husband Caleb Fowler and their son Deacon of Meeker, Jason Montgomery and his son Drake of McLoud, Tabitha Hennigh  and her children, Amilea Fay of Shawnee, Elijah Smith of Meeker, Danial Foster of the home in Tecumseh, Coty and wife Katlynn Hennigh and their daughters Kaydence and Peyton of Mcloud.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Hennigh; one son, Casey Hennigh; Her parents, Cecil and Helen Williams Houghton, one sister, Cecelia Allen; and one brother, Jerry Williams.
