Billy Gene Halley

Billy Gene Halley of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on December 9, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 71 years.

Billy Gene Halley was born on August 8, 1953, in El Dorado, Kansas, He was the son of Carlene Posey Rains, He grew up in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He worked for Rath Salvage. Billy was wilder in his early years but came to know the Lord in his older years attending the Apostolic Mission Church in Shawnee where he gave his heart to the Lord. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was quick-witted, always having something funny to say and loved going to the casino with his sister and was always looking for a jackpot.

He was preceded in death by, his mother Carlene; brothers, Timmy Rains, Ricky Dale Halley; sister and brother-in-law, Terri and Freddie Collins.

He is survived by two daughters, Carlea and Nelson Tooman of McLoud; Shelly Morris of Kansas; two sons, Russell McCalip of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; Will White of Kansas; one sister, Sherry Stone of Prague; one brother, John Rains of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; special nephews, Josh and Terri Stone of Prague, Jimmy Stone and their children Lane, Landon, and Hayden of Prague, Daniel Stone and his children Crew and Cannon of Choctaw, Oklahoma, TC Rains of Kansas, William Tori Collins of New Mexico; one niece, Candy Collins; his special mother-in-law, “Granny Bill” of Tecumseh.
