Bonnie Burrough passed into glory with family by her side on Saturday, February 10 2024, after an illness at the age of 89 years.
Bonnie was born March 1934, in Dale, Oklahoma to William and Helen Garner, during her younger years her family lived in various towns returning back to Dale where she graduated from Dale High School in 1952. She married Roy Burrough on October 16, 1953, and they made their home in Shawnee. They had two children Diane and Steve Burrough. She served her family as a homemaker and in 1970 she attended cosmetology school receiving her license in cosmetology. She enjoyed oil painting, gardening, treasure hunting, reading, collecting bells, baking pies, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. August 20, 1979, Roy preceded her in death and she continued living in Shawnee.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother; three sisters.
She is survived by daughter Diane, son Steve and his wife Rosalind, grandsons Blake and his wife Marisah, Ethan and his wife Reagan and great-granddaughter Maddyn.
She is also survived by sisters Barbara Woodward and Becky Garner and several nieces and nephews.
