Cheryle Annet Holden of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on September 9, 2022, in Oklahoma City at the age of 69 years.
Cheryle Annet Holden was born July 24, 1953, in Norman, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Clifford and Frankie Rollins. She spent her entire life as a resident in Norman. She attended Immanuel Baptist Church as a child with her grandmother, where she came to know the Lord and was baptized.
Through attendance at Immanuel, she came to meet her future husband, Kenneth Holden. Through their service to the church, they developed a friendship. After a short courtship, they were married July 12, 1973, and just celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary.
Cheryle and Ken established their home in Norman and had three children- Nathan, Michaela, and Andrew. Cheryle devoted her life to being a stay-at-home mom and serving through the church in different capacities. She loved everyone. She loved working in the preschool & teaching Sunday School of all ages. She loved singing in church and cooking for youth camp. Her hobbies included crocheting, quilting, cooking, sewing, and using her skills to win as many awards as possible at the county fair.
Her pride and joy were her kids and her five grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Ken Holden of Norman; two sons, Nathan Holden and wife Kelly of Norman, and Andrew Holden and wife Chelcee of Norman; one daughter, Michaela Jennings and husband Beau of Norman; five grandchildren, Asher Holden and Zeke Holden, Cadence Mesa, Carter Holden, and Beckett Holden; two step grandkids, Orie Jennings and Emma Jennings; one brother, Andy Rollins; one sister, Julie DeFrancesco; five nephews, Samuel Graham, Larry Stanton and wife Wendi, Steven Stanton and wife Susan, and Mark Stanton and wife Angela; and two nieces, Kaitlyn Graham, and Maggie Graham; one sister-in-law, Pat Stanton; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 2:00 pm till 8:00 pm Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at the Immanuel Baptist Church 1777 East Robinson, Norman, Oklahoma.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, 10:00 am September 15, 2022, at Immanuel Baptist Church 1777 East Robinson, Norman, Oklahoma, with Rev. Ken Huddleston officiating.
