Cynthia Jeanne (Ward) Dee

Cynthia "Cindy" Jeanne Dee, a resident of McLoud, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022 in Shawnee at the age of 50. Cindy was born on December 15, 1971 in Burien, Washington to James Ward and Margaret "Peggy" Stevenson Ward.

Cindy grew up in Washington state. She married Mark Richard Dee on August 18, 2007 in Capistrano Beach, California. Cindy was employed by Boeing Corporation as a project manager and remained as a faithful employee with Boeing for 22 years. Cindy and her husband Mark were members of the Faith Community of God Church in Shawnee.

Cindy loved to go shopping, work with scrapbooking projects, and enjoyed camping. She was always the consummate host for many parties and family gatherings. But most of all, Cindy loved her two grandchildren, and she was an extraordinarily loving and caring grandmother. Cindy was also a loving daughter, wife, and mother and she will be missed dearly by her family.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Donald Stevenson and Theresa Stevenson.

Cindy is survived by her husband Mark, of the home in McLoud; by her parents, James and Peggy Ward of Choctaw; by her daughter, Kiristen Wolf and husband Bryan of Guthrie; by a niece, Jamie Cordova of Tacoma, Washington; by two very special grandchildren, Jackson Wolf and Robert Wolf, both of Guthrie; by numerous other extended family and many good friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Faith Community Church, 43005 MacArthur Street in Shawnee with Rev. Kim Lanman offficiating. Services are under the direction of McElyea & Owens Funeral Group of Shawnee.
