Darlene Kay Ingersoll

Darlene Kay Ingersoll, 77 Sparks, Oklahoma, passed away July 21, 2023.

She was born January 3, 1946, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to John (Pete) Markel and Irma Markel (Preston). She attended Lyman Public Schools.

Darlene married Marion Ingersoll on July 7, 1962, she served her family as a homemaker and together her and Marion raised three children: Tommy, Rodney and Lisa. They made their home for years in Minatare Nebraska. Darlene and Marion owned Squeaky Clean Custodial Service in Scottsbluff Nebraska for years before retiring and moving to Oklahoma in 2001.  

She is survived by, her husband of 61 years, Marion Ingersoll of Sparks Oklahoma. Son Tommy  Ingersoll and wife Penny of Lakewood Village, Texas; Daughter, Lisa Reedy and husband Eddie of Sparks, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Scotty, Dustin and Brett Ingersoll. Nik and Brock Ingersoll and Natasha Wright and husband Brandon. Four great-grandchildren, Mason, Kendall, Clara and Miles.

She was preceded in death by, son Rodney Ingersoll, her two brothers, Dennis and Dewey. Parents John and Irma Markel. Numerous friends and special dog Buttons.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
