Delia Ann Coy of Shawnee went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 13, 2023, at the age of 78 years.
Delia Ann Coy was born on January 5, 1945, in Kentucky. She was the daughter of Arthur and Clarice (Bishop) Fields. She grew up in Kentucky and attended school in Kentucky as a young girl the family moved to Oklahoma where she attended public school and graduated in Oklahoma. Following her education, she married Ed Siemens and they had three children: Dean, Mendy and Trenton. She later married Richard Gaines and they made their home in Colorado and Oklahoma City. They had two children, Clarice, and Arthur, she began working as a head start teacher, midwife, nurse, and a health aide, she also taught her children in home schooling. On January 1, 1991, she married Charles Coy, and they made their home in Oklahoma. She enjoyed plants, collecting glassware, and loved spending time with her family and family get togethers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Trenton Siemens; and two brothers, Don and Gail.
She is survived by her children, Dean Siemens of Carthage, Tennessee, Mendy Berryhill of Checotah, Oklahoma, Clarice Simpson of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, and Arthur Gaines of Earlsboro, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and two brothers, Phil Fields of Mustang, Oklahoma, Gray Fields of Alva, Oklahoma.
