Elizabeth Jane Brumley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on November 24, 2024, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 77.
Elizabeth Jane Brumley was born on October 9, 1947, in Oklahoma City. She was the daughter of Paul Edwin and Emma Lou (Wright) Wilkerson. She grew up in Oklahoma City attending Oklahoma City Public Schools graduating from Northwest Classen High School in 1965. In 1977 she moved to Shawnee and began Elizabeth’s World Travel. She was the first woman Chamber of Commerce President for Shawnee. She played a key role in bringing the National Youth Finals Rodeo to Shawnee. She was also the President of the Business and Professional Women’s Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Chevy Glenn Lee; and one sister, Paula Walker.
She is survived by one daughter, Kelly Dawn Hawkes of Oklahoma City; one granddaughter, Madison Brumley of Oklahoma City; one grandson, Dawson Lee of Choctaw, Oklahoma; three great grandchildren. Payton Lee, Kailey Lee, and DJ Lee.
