Erica LaShae Richardson

Erica LaShae Richardson, a resident of Tecumseh, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025 in Midwest City, Oklahoma, at the age of 41. Erica was born on December 12, 1984 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Rodney Harris and Valerie (Edwards) Bridgewater.

Erica attended school in Shawnee. She worked as a personal care aide for a number of years. Eric attended church at the Emmanual Temple of Praise and Deliverance in Shawnee as well as Tecumseh First Baptist Church. She was also involved PHISH Grief Ministry. Her favorite things most always involved time spent with her family and friends. She was a loving daughter and sister and aunt and she will be missed by the many people who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents; a brother, Joenathan Stargell II; and several aunts and uncles.

Erica leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Valerie Bridgewater and husband Odie of Shawnee; three siblings, Terrence Stargell of Shawnee, Dominique Stargell of Shawnee; and Alijah Stargell of Shawnee; and by other extended family and many good friends.

Following cremation the family will have a Celebration of Life Service in honor of Erica at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to McElyea & Owens Funeral Group of Shawnee.
