Gracelee Morris Obituary
Gracelee (Huddleston) Morris, a resident of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in Edmond on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at the age of 98. Gracelee was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Following her school years, Gracelee met and married the love of her life, Russell Morris. They were married in Lima, Ohio in 1946 and remained happily enjoined for 65 years before Russell's death in 2011. Russell was a career military man, serving in the US Air Force and Gracelee was deeply committed to supporting her husband throughout his 27 years of faithful service. Gracelee was active in the various Air Force Wives Clubs during Russell's military career. Most importantly, Gracelee was deeply loved by her family and she will be missed by many good friends as well.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Grace and Edgar Huddleston; and her husband Russell Morris.
Gracelee is survived by her son, Russell Morris and wife Julie of Guthrie; a daughter, Judy Stover and her husband Don of Columbus, Ohio; by two grandchildren, John Powers of Anchorage, Alaska; and Jennifer Valieant and husband Joe of Voeihingen, Germany: five great grandchildren; other extended family and many good friends.
Services are under the direction of McElyea & Owens Funeral Group of Shawnee.
