Helen Joan (Austin) Donwerth of Noble, Oklahoma, departed this life on January 25, 2023, in Noble at the age of 75 years.
Helen Joan Donwerth was born on February 11, 1947, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Fret and Ethel (Holland) Austin. She grew up in Oklahoma City attending Oklahoma City Public Schools. As a teenage she moved to California where she worked as a waitress for her uncle’s restaurant. She later moved back to Oklahoma and met Odell Donwerth and they married in 1972 making their home in Oklahoma City, Bridge Creek and later Noble, Oklahoma. She enjoyed going to casinos and loved spending time with her great grandson, Kal-el. On April 14, 1997, Odell passed away and Helen continued to make Noble her home.
She was also preceded in death by, her parents; nine brothers and sisters; and one daughter, Mechelle Donwerth.
She is survived by two daughters, Jeannie Parks and husband Jim of Noble, and Melissa Koehn and husband Brian of Nobel; one son, Norman Donwerth of Norman; five grandchildren, Harlea, Savannah, Jesse, Daniel and Colton; her great grandson Kal-el who was her pride and joy; one great grandchild on the way; and her sister, Shirley Zacker of Oklahoma City.
