Jefry Harold Nixon

Jefry Harold Nixon, a resident of Shawnee, OK, passed away in Oklahoma City, OK on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the age of 41. Jefry was born on December 9, 1983 in Oklahoma City, OK to Weston Dale Nixon and Pamela Helen (Cooper) Mitchell.

Jefry grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Oklahoma City Public Schools. He worked for several years as a painter before moving to Shawnee approximately 3 years ago. Jefry collected Marvel memorabilia, loved playing his guitar, and was an avid reader. Most of all, Jefry was a loving son, brother, and uncle and he will be missed by the many people who knew and loved him.

Jefry is preceded in death by his father, Weston Dale Nixon; four grandparents, Weston Nixon, Bertha Lou Nixon, Norbert Cooper and Eunice Cooper.

He is survived by his mother, Pamela Mitchell of Shawnee; a sister, Tara Nixon of California; a nephew, Deacon Nixon of California; by numerous cousins, other extended family, and many good friends.

The family will hold a memorial service for Jefry at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to McElyea & Owens Funeral Group of Shawnee.
