Jerold Alvin Roberts

Jerold Alvin Roberts of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away on March 19, 2024, in Oklahoma City at the age of 86 years.

Jerold Alvin Roberts was born on October 15, 1937, in Alhambra, California. He was the son of Harold E. and Wilma (Null) Roberts. He grew up in the Oregon and Washington States area and then they settled in Oakdale, California, where he graduated from Oakdale High School, He then furthered his education He began working in various industries before his career with Kelcey-Hays Axle in Hayward, California, in 1976 he was transferred to Seminole Oklahoma, Hays Axle. He met Judy Faye Yancey in 1976 and they enjoyed 46 years together. They made their home in Oklahoma and California while raising their family. He enjoyed camping, sail boating and being with his family, loved spending time with his family during the holidays where he would play Santa to his grandchildren and was known as “Papa Claus”. He donated his time to many organizations where he played Santa for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Nancy Giainino; two brothers, Bob, and Richard Roberts,

He is survived by his wife Judy Roberts if the home; two daughters, Laura Reyna and husband David of Seminole, and Andrea Roberts of Seminole; seven grandchildren, Sabrina, David Jr, Dakota, Andrew, Vanessa, Daniel, and Austin; eight great grandchildren, Yulianna, Olivianna, Taelor, Audrianna, Tucker, Larissa, Emillia, Karson; and two Brothers, Bill Roberts of Oakdale, California, Tim Roberts of Oakdale, California.

A Celebration of Life Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 1:00 pm, at the Bowlegs First Baptist Church, with Daniel Reyna officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Coast Guard.

Honorary Pallbearers are David Reyna Sr., David Reyna Jr., Andrew Roberts, Daniel Roberts, Austin Roberts, Cullen Tatum, Kenneth Fixico, Scappy Smith, and David Colvin.
