Jesse Willard Rose III of Kaw City, Oklahoma, departed this life on November 14, 2022, at the age of 64 years.
Jesse Willard Rose Ill was born October 3, 1958, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He was the son of Jesse Willard Rose Jr., and Betty Jean Rose. Jesse was a bulldozer operator by trade and was taught everything he knew about bulldozing by his uncles, Wendell, Gene and Leon Fuller, but his full time job was family comedian and family entertainer, he loved to make us laugh and tell us how to fish like a pro. He was a great singer and loved to play his guitar for all those who listened. Through the years Jesse enjoyed fishing and most of all spending time with family. He was a stranger to no one and found great purpose in sharing the challenges and successes and the joys of his life.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ike and Etter Fuller, paternal grandparents, Jesse Rose Sr., and Lula May Rose, his mother, Betty Jean Myers; two sisters, Jessica Rose and Shelia Rutland.
He is survived by his father, Jesse Rose Jr., and wife Sunny; He has two brothers, John Rose, and Edwin Malone; four sisters, Linda Rose, Tina Rose, Sharla Arrington, and Gloria Emerson and husband Tom; Jesse also had two daughters, Jennifer Rose, and Audra Barksdale; and one grandson, Katigan Barksdale; and numerous cousins; nieces; nephews; and many friends who have cherished their time with him.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ in Cromwell Oklahoma, at 2:00 pm on Monday November 21, 2022, followed by the burial at the Highland Cemetery in Okemah Oklahoma.
There will be a pot luck dinner at 12:00 pm at the church for those who can come please come bring a covered dish and share some food and stories of Jesse.
