Kayla Dawn Butler

Kayla Dawn Butler, formerly of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on March 8, 2023, in Stroud, Oklahoma, a week before her 33rd birthday.

Kayla Dawn Butler was born on March 16, 1990, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Kelly Butler. She grew up in Shawnee attending Shawnee Public Schools. Following her education, she worked at various jobs, but her dream was to be a tattoo artist. In 2020 she moved to Stroud.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Gaylene Summers.

She is survived by her mother, Kelly Butler of Shawnee; her son, Gabriel Dean Caine of Ardmore; one brother, Cody of Ardmore; two sisters, Emily of Oklahoma City, and Heather of Oklahoma; her stepfather, Jerry “Booder” Ashcraft Jr. of Stroud; one uncle, Richie of Prague; and a family friend, Scott Dockery of Shawnee.
