Mrs. Kim Rene' Rel died peacefully at home in Meeker, OK on the evening of August 9th, 2024 at the age of 63. After a long battle with two terminal illnesses, she passed quietly in her sleep. She is finally pain free, and at rest.
Kim was born in Vancouver, Washington on December 1st, 1960 to Shirley Leach West and Curtis West. Kim was outgoing, and loved school and art. She attended Chase Business College early in her adult life, then learned baking and cake decorating in 2011. In 2014 she began teaching others to decorate cakes atGordon Cooper Technology Center at both the Shawnee and Seminole campuses. She certainly loved to share her enthusiasm for cake decorating with her students.
She is survived by her mother Shirley Wolf of Vancouver, WA; her husband Ronald Rel; children Jennifer Helsing, Mark Sinner, and Tabetha Sinner; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; siblings ChantáWest of Vancouver, WA, Moreland West of Paducah, KY, Tara Eanes of Roscommon, MI, Nathan West of Longview, WA, and Garrin Hilgers of Vancouver, WA. She is preceded in death by her father Curtis West of Vancouver, WA, Gordon West of Vancouver, WA, and Charla Haack of Glendale, AZ.
