Laura Vanbuskirk Obituary
Laura Faye (Copeland) Vanbuskirk, passed away in her home on December 14, 2025 at the age of 74. Laura was born on December 7, 1951 in Arlingon, Texas to Grant Copeland and Betty Marie Copeland.
Laura was a High School graduate who graduated from North East High School in Oklahoma City. She worked in the communications field as a communications assistant for both Southwestern Bell and AT&T.
Laura has been blessed with 5 grandsons, Austin Gunter, Andrew Vanbuskirk, Aaron Vanbuskirk, Ryder Gooderong, and Kaden Jude Kirchner. She also as two great grandchildren, Bbrynlee Vanbuskirk and Oaklynn Vanbuskirk; a brother, James Copeland of Ardmore; other extended family and many good friends.
Following cremation, the family will hold a memorial service at a later date. McElyea & Owens Funeral Group of Shawnee is handling arrangements,
