Leonard St John Anterola Jr.

Leonard St. John Anterola Jr. of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on January 1, 2022, in Shawnee, after a two-week illness at the age of 87 years.

Leonard was born on February 4, 1934, in Portsmouth, Virginia. He was the son of Leon San Juan Anterola and Minnie Willey-Freeman. Leonard Is survived by his loving wife, Rhoda Recafort Anterola; and their son, Kelly Recafort Anterola; Leonard’s other children include, Catherine Johnson and husband Larry, Andrew Williams and wife JoAnne, Laura Young and husband Jason, Monica Cooper and husband Rick, and Leonard St John “Sinjin” Anterola III. Also mourning his loss Is special grandson, Joseph Roger Anterola. Leonard was blessed with several grandchildren: and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Joseph Anterola; and one baby sister, Ruth Lorraine Anterola who passed on March 11, 1933.
