Michael James Burgin

Michael James Burgin, a resident of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 36. Michael was born on June 20, 1987 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Michael Sanders Burgin and Judith J (Giddens) Burgin.

Michael grew up in Tecumseh, attending Tecumseh Public Schools. He worked for a number of years as an automotive tire technician for several different tire vendors. Michael was an enthusiast who enjoyed working on motorcycles and cars. Michael loved skateboarding and metal music. Michael loved his children very much. He was loving son and father and he will be missed by his family and many friends.

Michael is survived by his father, Michael Sanders Burgin of Tecumseh; his mother, Judy Burgin of Eufaula; by two sisters, Nicole Aloway and husband Adam of Shawnee and Gina Burgin and Justin Jackson of Tecumseh; by Michael's children, Felix, Harley, Mack, Sincere, Jaxson, Tristin, Hope, Rocky, and Jasper; by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and many good friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Wilma Durham; his Papa, Jerry
Giddens; and his grandfather, David Smith.

A memorial service for Michael is scheduled for 10am Monday, November 20, 2023 at Taproot Church, 22 East Dunloup Street, Shawnee, OK 74804 with Rev. James Walter officiating.
