Ora Green Obituary
Ora Diane (Birtciel) Green, a resident of rural Chandler, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024 in Chandler at the age of 83. Diane was born on April 8, 1941 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to James Robert Birtciel and Jewell (Abbott) Birtciel.
Diane moved from New Mexico to Oklahoma where she attended school. She married the love of her life, Carl Frederick Green on January 17, 1958 in Oklahoma City. They remained happily enjoined for 66 years until her passing. Diane was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Diane is preceded in death by her mother and father; by two brothers and four sisters; and one son, Tim Green.
She is survived by her husband Carl of the home in Chandler; by four daughters, Rachel Schonfield and husband Billy of Bristow, Jennifer Miller and husband Travis of Dewey, Diana Green of Oklahoma City, and by Tammy Green and wife Suzanne of Oklahoma City; by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren which she adored; and by numerous extended family and many good friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by McElyea & Owens Funeral Group of Shawnee.
