Retha Faye Lewis

Retha Faye (Oliver) Lewis passed away at her home in Meeker on December 17, 2025 at the age of 85. She was born on June 1, 1940 in Stratford, Oklahoma to Gilmore Oliver and Gertrude Oliver. She was raised on a dairy farm and married her husband, Calvin D. Lewis on November 21, 1961 in El Reno, OK.

She worked diligently as a caregiver, homemaker, and rancher. She loved gardening and decorating her home, and left a legacy of hard work and loving her family with all her heart. Most of all, she was a loving daughter, sister, wife and mother, and grandmother and she cherished her time spent with family.

She was preceded in death by both parents, Gilmore and Gertrude Oliver; her 8 siblings; and a son, Michael Dean Lewis.

Retha is survived by her husband, Calvin D Lewis of the home in Meeker; three daughters, Sherry Hibben and husband Thomas, Patricia Ellis of Tecumseh, and Donna Michelle Anderson and husband Philip of Bradley, OK; 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; other extended family and many good friends.

Following cremation, the family plans to have a Celebration of Life Service at a future date.
