Robert Bryan Goins

Robert Bryan Goins, a resident of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home in Dallas on October 16, 2024 at the age of 74. Robert was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on September 13, 1950 to Robert Ralph Goins and Martha Ann (Ball) Goins.

Robert grew up in Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture. Robert was a man of many skills. He was well known for his abilities in ice-skating and snow skiing. He was passionate about restoring properties. With a strong sense of architecture, Robert became deeply involved in working to restore the beauty of a stucture's architecture. At one time Robert was a professional skiier, and he taught people how to ski the mountains when we was hosting guests at a Bed and Breakfast in Winter Park, Colorado. Over the years, Robert has been a strong supporter and regular volunteer with several dear friends at "A.R.F.", a no kill animal organization. Robert was generous to a fault, and people loved him and were drawn to his wonderful personality. Most of all, Robert was a loving son, brother, life partner and uncle and he will be missed by the many people who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by both his father and his mother.

Robert is survived by his partner and companion Patrick Wood of the home in Dallas; his sister, Barbara Sue Sanderson and nephews Matt Sanderson and Chris Sanderson; by other extended family and many good friends.
