Robert "Bob" Hutchison of Luther, Oklahoma, passed away on December 19, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 93 years.
Robert "Bob" Hutchison was born on January 15, 1930, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the son of Fred Rush and Faye Cleo (Wilson) Hutchison. He grew up in Oklahoma City attending Putnum City Public Schools, graduating in 1948. He joined the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Following his education, he moved to Texas where he worked for his brother in the Igloo Ice Chest Company for a short time, He later moved to Edmond and married Karen Wright in 1959 where they made Edmond their home. He furthered his education at The University of Oklahoma. He then went into sales for a grain elevator company. in the 1970's he became a real estate agent. He married Patrice Dunham in 1979, they made their home in Edmond. In 1989 he moved to his family home and in 2000 he bought some land in Luther and moved the family home to that property. He enjoyed trout fishing in Missouri, he enjoyed drawing nature art, and bird hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Garth Hutchison; two brothers, Dean Hutchison, and Gene Hutchison; two sisters, Charlotte Jane Hutchison, and Mary Beth Grbic; and one great grandchild, Asher Hutchison.
He is survived by one son, Adam Hutchison of Luther; five grandchildren, Andrea Phillips and husband Wesley of Geronimo, Oklahoma, Samantha Hutchison and boyfriend Zach Harrison of Elk City, Oklahoma, Spencer Hutchison of Oklahoma City, Alexander Hutchison and Ashley Ramos of Crescent, Oklahoma, and Morgan Hutchison of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; four great grandchildren, Kade Phillips, Karter Phillips, Kendall Phillips, and Axel Hutchison.
