Roy Allen Renfro

Roy Allen Renfro, a resident of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, passed away at his home in Tecumseh on March 12, 2023, at the age of 84.

Roy was born on September 6, 1938, in Wanette, Oklahoma, to Lee Roy Renfro and Katie (Killian) Renfro.

Roy was a loving husband, son, brother, and father and he will be missed by the many who knew and loved him. He was a longtime member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church of Shawnee. Roy worked as a line production specialist for Mobil Chemical Corporation. Roy met the love of his life and was married on September 6, 1979, in Texas to Becky Huckabee.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Lee  Renfro and Katie Renfro; by 2 sisters, Rosalee Beason and LaVerne Skinner; and a brother, Eugene Renfro.

He is survived by his wife, Becky of the home in Tecumseh; by his daughters, Amanda Hicks and husband Billy Hicks of Amber, Oklahoma, and Sharla Rogers of Oklahoma City; by two sons, Charles Austin of Oklahoma City and Thomas Austin and wife Tammy of Tecumseh; by one brother, Claude Renfro of Shawnee, by six Grandchildren and one great grand daughter.

A memorial service for Roy will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11:00am at Emmanuel Episcopal Church of Shawnee with Fr. Tom Dahlman officiating.
