Sherman Lee Ross of Paden, Oklahoma, passed away on August 2, 2022, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 69 years.
Sherman Lee Ross was born on July 5, 1953, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son of Bobby Ross and Mary (Winn) Barkheimer. Sherman was always a man of his word, extremely intuitive, and had more common sense than most. He was always on a scavenger hunt finding treasures alongside the road. Sherman was a truck driver and bricklayer with an admirable work ethic. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, collecting zippo lighters and pocketknives, using his tractor, spending time with his family and grandchildren, and scrolling through "ticky-tok."
He was preceded in death by, his parents; one brother, Bobby, and one grandson, Preston.
Sherman is survived by his wife, Sharon Ross of Paden; his children, Brandy Helm and husband Jason, Stephanie Matthews and husband Jeff, and Cody Ross and wife Libby; his siblings, Roger, and Vicky; nine grandchildren, Dustin, Kristie, Kylie, Connor, Collin, Paisley, Brooklyn, and Cashton; three great grandchildren, one step great-grandson that lived with Sherman, Sean; three step-grandchildren, JT, Brittney, and Makayla.
