Tammy Dawn (Huey) Huey

Tammy Dawn Huey, a resident of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 in Oklahoma City at the age of 56. Tammy was born on March 10, 1968 in Oklahoma City to Thomas Lloyd Huey and Shirley Ann (Jackson) Huey.

Tammy grew up in Oklahoma City and attended school there. She earned an Associates Degree as a medical assistant while  attending college in California. She worked as a medical assistant for several years before retiring due to medical reasons. Most of all, Tammy loved her family and they loved her. She will be missed by the many people who knew and loved her.

Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Huey.

She is survived by her father, Thomas Lloyd Huey of Clinton; three children, Katie Castonguay and husband Kyle of Oklahoma City (now serving in the Air Force in Korea), Caspian  Marvin of California, and Michael McLovin & Saundra Stewart of Norman; Gracie Stewart, of Norman, Oklahoma; her dog Ellie and grand-dog Brownie one sister, Rebecca Downing & husband Steve of Edmond; one brother, Ronnie Huey & wife Sarah of Yukon; and four very special grandchildren, Xander McLovin, Sofia McLovin, Kamila Castonguay, and Gracie Stewart, and other extended family   and many good friends.

Viewing and visitation for Tammy will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at McElyea & Owens Funeral Group, 5106 N Harrison Street, Shawnee, Oklahoma, 74804. Cremation will follow after viewing.
